I see them they all come forward one at a time crying blasphemy yet the week before  they had laid down palms as if they actually understood that he is king of kings. One after another they destroy every good thing he has done for them by saying it is devil's work yet when it happened they were awed by what he had done. I know he wants to help them so I watch as he is accused of something he didn't do.

Alone is he my son today
He lets others blacken his name
To him he sees sinners waiting to be saved
To me I another loved one is slayed

They dressed him in red robes a thorn crown that made his head bleed and paraded him around to prove just how wrong his rights were. And I watched as they dragged him to that pillar tied him down and beat him bloody. 'Hail king of the Jews' they call merciless as they hit him on the head. All the while he stood there taking it. I know I am crying I know that Mary Magdalene is probably wondering how I can take it but I know that soon it will end and we humans will not know what we had until it is gone.

Nothing has he to say
As they mimic his good ways
To him the crown of thorns is just another day
To me another loved one is slayed

He fell to the ground as if he were a rock in the sea. People laugh and spit on him his body is broken but I know his will is not. He wants to save them he wants to save us all even if it means losing his own life. I know that it isn't the one and only time he will fall and I rush out to him.

Falling to the ground with sway
His pain soon shall go away
To him it's just another sin he takes
To me another loved one is slayed

A man named Simon is called to help my son carry the cross. you could see it in his eyes that Simon didn't want to and I wanted to yell 'has my son let me carry it instead' but I couldn't find my voice I think it's gone from all the crying I have done as I walked along side of Jesus weaving in and out of the crowd to make sure he is okay.  This time as I weave in between the crowd I see she has reached him first. Someone called veronica back to the crowd but she ignored them and wiped away my son's bloody face. Then as held the veil -her veil with my son's blood on it close to her heart as if she knew it was something holy. Simon stood up and helped Jesus get closer and closer to his death.

Please don't act as if it's okay
That is my son you are trying to take away
To him its moment to help those gone astray
To me another loved one is slayed

He fell to the ground again carrying the cross and Simon down with him two times after. Until they stripped him from his robes and nailed him to the cross. In the corner beside the cross they gambled over my son's seamless robe. I can see it in his eyes he will last long enough to do something miraculous than he will die. He tells the sinners on his left and right about the kingdom of heaven and all of its riches. while one embraces the idea of a home for him after he leaves this life the other one rejects it 1 hrs 2 hrs 3 hrs pass by until at last some odd hours later he asked for something to drink. One of the guards put a wine soaked sponge on the end of a spear and pressed it to his lips but he rejected it. "Father" he calls out in a weak voice to the sky "forgives them for they know not what they have done" and with that last breath he took he died.
"Forgive them" he does say
And atlas all that have gone astray; they are saved
To him he can finally go and know everything will be okay
To me a loved one saved

Everyone around me could probably here scream the neighing of the horses or maybe even sobs but I, could hear nothing. I know that I am screaming but the screams come like death to my ears. They replay my broken sobs 'my son' I cry over and over again until the sky blackens and I feel the earthquake. even the devil crys now...

And on the cross doth he lay
Head bowed hands nailed feet stained
To him it's no pain delayed
To me another loved one slayed and saved
